In June 2004, Meritage Properties acquired Metroplex I & II; with a combined total of approximately 293,059 square feet located in Landover, Maryland. The buildings were constructed in the early 1980’s and have undergone significant renovations in recent years. Metroplex I consists of six floors totaling approximately 106,000 square feet, and Metroplex II consists of 13 floors totaling 187,000 square feet. Metroplex also contains a building site approved for over 200,000 square feet of FAR.
Many significant capital improvements have been completed during our ownership including a redesigned entry courtyard, new energy management systems, HVAC and common area upgrades.
