ANDREW NATHAN - FOUNDER
 Meritage Properties' founder, Andrew Nathan, was formerly a senior executive with Tishman Speyer Properties, one of the nation's premier real estate firms. During his 16-year tenure with Tishman Speyer, Mr. Nathan participated in the negotiation and structuring of virtually all of the firm's major acquisitions, financings, and dispositions. This included the acquisition of over 20 million square feet of office, residential and retail space, negotiation of several million square feet of office leases and billions of dollars of debt financing, and the creation of numerous joint ventures.
- Played a key role in the conceptualization, marketing, and execution of four successful real estate opportunity funds involving nearly $2 billion of equity capital committed to over 80 real property investments worldwide.
- Served as a Senior Managing Director, Chief Legal Officer, and member of the Investment, Management, Personnel, and Executive Committees of the firm.
- Played a significant role in developing Tishman Speyer's key strategic initiatives and formulating many of the firm's operating procedures and expansion plans.
As the Founder and Principal of Meritage Properties, Andrew Nathan serves as the primary decision maker for all transactions and is the main contact for deal sourcing, debt financing, and co-investment opportunities. His role also involves detailed oversight of all activities of the company in the Greater Boston and Washington DC markets, in addition to the day to day responsibilities of running the firm.
