Art DellaSalla joined Meritage Properties in November of 2004. He was formerly an Associate Managing Director with Grubb & Ellis Company, one of the premier full service real estate brokerage firms in the country. During his nine years at Grubb & Ellis, Mr. DellaSalla initially oversaw Grubb & Ellis' Tri-State Research and Client Services Group where his responsibilities included the preparation of research material, market reports, marketing packages and financial evaluations.

He then joined the Investment Services Group where his focus shifted to consulting clients in their acquisition, disposition and financial restructuring of mostly office properties and development sites. His account management responsibilities included financial modeling, valuation consulting and market research and much of his business development focus was on underperforming assets. His strong marketing and analytical skills, along with his financial background and knowledge of the local real estate market have permitted him to play a crucial role in the improvement of Grubb & Ellis' information management systems. During the last three years of his tenure he concluded sales transactions with an aggregate value of over $500 million.

In his current role at Meritage, Mr. DellaSalla assists in managing Meritage's existing portfolio as well as developing and implementing many of the company's strategic initiatives, operating procedures and value enhancement strategies. Mr. DellaSalla’s responsibilities include detailed oversight of all activities of the company in the Providence, New Jersey and Maryland markets.
