Art DellaSalla joined Meritage as a Managing Director in November, 2004, following 9 years at Grubb & Ellis, where he, among other things, managed the Tri-State Research and Client Services Group and subsequently joined the New York Investment Sales Team. Art’s extensive network of close broker relationships, together with his fundamental grounding in market research, operations management and analytical underwriting, added considerable depth to the organization’s core strengths. While managing the Research and Client Services team, Art also received his MBA in Finance at Seton Hall University in 1999. He then joined the Investment Services Group where his focus shifted to consulting clients in their acquisition and disposition strategies and financial restructuring of mostly office properties and development sites in the Northeast where much of his business development focus was on underperforming assets.

In his current role at Meritage, Art assists in managing Meritage’s existing portfolio as well as developing and implementing many of the company’s strategic initiatives, operating procedures and value enhancement strategies. His responsibilities include detailed supervision of all activities of the company in the Providence, New Jersey and Metropolitan Washington D.C. markets. Art also oversees all of Meritage’s new property underwriting and due diligence activities.
